Common Blood Collection Tubes

Just diagnosed with cancer?

Cancer changes everything.

For me, in a few short moments, the future I had worked so hard for was suddenly gone – replaced with a mix of all things terrible.

One moment, I was a normal, healthy person with her whole life ahead of her.  The next, I was so sick I couldn’t walk or talk.

Reading was one of the few things I could do when my body didn’t let me do much of anything else.

It gave me something to hang on to – my life raft.

Here is a list of books that I read in those very first touch and go moments and some of my reflections on them.  I also added a few tips that I learned on the way.

The road ahead is rough but you are not alone.  Rally the troops and keep up the hope.  Through this post and the ones to come, I hope we can walk together through this crazy, disorienting time towards a better, healthier tomorrow.

Many blessings and lots of love,

TheCancerPrancer
